Booking for an open photography session is simple and requires nothing more than an email with your contact details. If you’re under 18, please make sure that you are able to bring a responsible adult with you as you have to legally able to sign a model release so that I can use the pictures in my commercial and promotional work.

In return for attending the open session and giving me your time, I will give you a CD of all the best images captured on the day. It’s a great way for me to get fresh pics and a great way for you to get great pics. We both win.

Company Executives need corporate headshots for annual reports and communications with both employees or customers. We offer a flexibe service either have your corporate headshots session in our studio or at your offices.

Executive Headshots Tips

• Whether you schedule a corporate headshots session at your offices or in our studio, we recommend that you schedule between 10-20 minutes per person. We are experienced in photographing people who are perhaps a little nervous in front of the camera and rushing each portrait is not the best thing.
• Schedule the session for the afternoon, as many people are more relaxed in the afternoon
• If the portrait session is to happen at your office, choose a room where there is some natural daylight as this will give your pictures a better feel. We will bring the lighting but pictures taken with natural light are the best.
• We photograph creatively, so we don’t use generic backdrops. We will try to encompass the general personality of both your company and your executives as using banal backgrounds is not the best way to achieve this.

Perhaps you want a studio portrait photograph to adorn your Myspace page or to increase your responses on an online dating service. It doesn’t matter why you want to have a studio portrait photograph done, what matters is understanding why will help you to decide on the mood of the photograph, the clothes you should wear or how you do your hair.

Studio portraits don’t have to be formal affairs. Perhaps you wish to appear differently from all your regular photographs. Have you thought of being a supermodel or perhaps dressing up as 007? The beauty of doing this is that it can be exciting and fun to dress up as someone else. It may even lead to a new career as an actor or model if your picture gets spotted.

What’s involved in getting a Studio portrait photograph

Once you have decided on what you want to achieve in terms of the type and mood of your photographic portrait, you need to make a booking to for the actual photographic session (refered to as a ‘sittiing’).

Booking your session

Use our Studio Portrait Photograph contact form to book your session. Please include the following details

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your contact telephone number
• Best time to call you
• Type of portrait required (Individual, Couple, Family)
• Preferred date & time (morning, afternoon or evening)

I will then contact you for further information and to discuss in more detail your requirements.

Paying your deposit

A deposit of 25% is required to confirm the booking. Once you have decided to go ahead, I will send you details of how you can pay the deposit. You can pay by cheque or by credit card via Paypal secure online payment gateway. If paying by cheque please allow at least 5 days before the session date for your cheque to clear.

At the session

In our discussions, we will have already decided on the length of session you require and the type of photoshoot you want to have. At the session is the time to have some fun and get the actual images done.

We will spend some time going through what you want to achieve with your look or looks and you’ll be encouraged to be as creative as you like with the poses.

Session times are not unlimited so it is important that you come ready to go to work. There is a hair and make up area and communal bathroom facilities at the studio, however unless you have booked a full 3 hour session make-over session, you will find time will run out if not prepared beforehand.

After the Session

Once the photography session has been completed, there will be the opportunity to go through all the photographs taken and for you to pick the studio portraits that you would like to purchase.

We offer a number of different sizes from A4 to A2, and formats. You can even get your studio portrait printed on Canvas if desired at very reasonable rates.

Fees start at £125 which includes the sitting fee. A 25% deposit is payable up front. This deposit will be deducted from the total price once you have decided on the number of studio portraits you wish to order. If you do not order any portraits at the end of the session, the deposit will not be refunded.

Capturing the real you

The sessions last for 45 minutes which gives you the opportunity to do 2-3 changes of clothing so that you get a variety of looks perfect for showing your diversity. The working atmosphere in my studio is relaxed and friendly, and before we take any photographs, we will together discuss what you looks you want to achieve from your headshots session.

The sessions are never rushed. It’s important that you are comfortable, and at ease before we begin the shoot, otherwise it will show in the images we produce and we won’t capture the real you.

I work in studios in East, West(central) and South London. They are easy to get to, comfortable and offer facilities for you to change clothing, do make up and hair.

If you need a hair or make up artist for your headshots session, we can book this service for you. Prices start from £45 per hour.

Re-touch

If you require retouches on digital images not included in the 3 inclusive images, prices start from £15 per image. All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT at the current rate.
